Posted on: 14/06/2019A message from Gareth NationWelcome back! We’ve had a fun filled start to the final term of this academic year. Swimming is underway and I joined the children for part of their first session last week. It is lovely to see them enjoying the lessons. Thank you to the staff for ensuring the new arrangements have gone so smoothly. This week was the last cricket lesson of the year. The coach informed me what a pleasure it was to work with your wonderful children and that he looks forward to working with us again next year. Well done children - you made a real impression! The ‘start of the day’ arrangements are working brilliantly and the children are more settled and focused in the mornings. Can I please remind you that all pupils must be in class for the register at 8:55 am so they are ready to start their day. Categories: 1 CategorySchool News
Posted on: 15/05/2019May FairOver £2600 was raised at the May fair. It would not have been possible without all the wonderful helpers on the day and the generous donations from local businesses and individuals. The money will be used to buy new laptops for the children to use. The sun shone and everyone enjoyed the afternoon with the highlight of the afternoon being the traditional maypole dancing by the children, the school choir and blackdown ladies choir also provided entertainment. Special thanks to Rosey Thompson who along with Mrs Blatcher spent many hours practising with the pupils. Categories: 1 CategorySchool News
