1:1 SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

Hours: 31hrs 25mins (Job share considered)  - Term Time Only

Grade 14: £16,491 (Actual salary is Pro Rata)

Fixed Term contract due to role being linked to supporting a specific pupil

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic team member (or a job share partnership) who understands the needs of a child with a high level of social and emotional needs.

 We are looking for:

• Someone who can develop confidence and self-esteem but also establish clear boundaries.
• Someone who understands ADHD and its impact on a child's daily life.

It is preferable that the candidate has completed Team Teach training and is skilled in de-escalation techniques. 

The candidate would also need to be supporting learning at a Yr5/6 level and would preferably have an understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
